We are just back from camping, three days north of Brooks at Emerson Bridge.
Had a great time and had very nice warm days. More photos later.

Tioga and George

Internet Rescue
When you travel alone, like George, you've got to have a plan for how to handle emergencies. Most people depend on their cell phones. But that's not so good when you travel off the beaten track. George has found that you don't have to get very far off the beaten track to lose cell phone signal.
Datastorm Internet satellite dish works everywhere for George.
I've been following George thru his weblog for over 2 years now. If you haven't checked in with George's weblog lately - you gotta go look at his entry for yesterday, May 14. George (actually Ms Tioga) got stuck in the mud and his cell phone couldn't help him. One of his thousands of weblog readers did!

First camping weekend of the year

May 7/05 Out camping again
We went out after work on Friday and it rained in the night.
Saturday was cloudy in the AM. PM was sunny and warm,
Sunday allso was sunny and warm, a very nice day. Got home again
about 6 PM and it was a lot cooler in Calgary ( had to put long pants on)
The dogs had a great time, running around, laying in the sun and sleeping.

No Post

In two days tomorrow will be yesterday.
Today is no special day and I have no particular reason for writing to you...
I have no news to tell you.... nor any problems to discuss with you.... or gossip to tell you...
It's only one of those happy moments...when I thought of you... and I would like to share these thoughts with you...
